All therapists are current members of The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and therefore covered by the AHPRA Code of Conduct (the code).
It sets out the standards of professional conduct the National Boards expect and is used by Boards to evaluate therapists’ conduct. Occupational Therapists have a professional responsibility to be familiar with and to apply this code.
If you are receiving care or treatment from one of our therapists, they are covered by this code and it will help you understand the behaviour you can expect.
Any person or organisation can raise a concern about a therapist by contacting AHPRA.
